Thinking of building your own Threadexpress? As you may know from viewing Mark Presling's and my ThreadExpress YouTube videos, Mark has been CAD modelling and building aThreadExpress V3, and preparing a set of copyrighted plans - technical drawings and CAD files. Please make sure you have viewed at least some of the videos, the introduction PDF above and the following, so that you understand well what ThreadExpress is, before considering whether to build your own.

Copyright: Mark and I have spent hundreds of hours getting ThreadExpress to this stage. We justified our time and effort by undertaking it as an 'enthusiasts labour of love' hobby project. Please respect this effort by keeping the design confidential and understanding the plans/drawings/CAD files are copyright and shared with you for your exclusive use only. (Please do not share privately or post online).
Warranty and support: Please note making a ThreadExpress attachment is not an easy beginner's project. There is a lot of really helpful information on Mark Presling's YouTube build series and the ThreadExpress YouTube channel, however builders will need a good level of skills and experience (or a lot of patience) to successfully complete this build without support. It is possible that there are errors present in the drawings and files that will only be revealed during the first builds. More specifically, as the design currently is, you need to be comfortable checking and editing for missing information, errors or any changes you wish to make. There is no warranty or support included in the plans. If you are uncomfortable with this, it is advised you wait until the design has been more fully proven or edited. It is hoped that soon a ThreadExpress forum or Facebook group will be started so that builders can support each other, hopefully Mark and I will at times be available to contribute. ThreadExpress parts: You may have seen from my videos on the subject, I am considering producing and supplying some key components. So far a few Spindle/Nut assemblies have been made. Small quantity production means the break even price of US$350 plus shipping of around US$60 means this is not a cheap option. Given this I am not sure what the demand will be. If you are interested please message me via contact above.
